کوئٹہ: ایس ایس پی ٹریفک کوئٹہ کے مطابق اگست کے مہینے میں بغیر نمبر پلیٹ موٹرسائیکلوں کے خلاف چلائی گئی خصوصی مہم کے دوران تقریباً 17 ہزار موٹرسائیکلیں بند کی گئیں۔ ان میں سے بڑی تعداد وہ ہے جنہیں صرف ٹریفک پولیس نے ضبط کیا۔
ایس ایس پی ٹریفک کا کہنا ہے کہ تقریباً 700 سے 750 موٹرسائیکلیں ایسی ہیں جن کے مالکان ابھی تک سامنے نہیں آئے۔ کئی موٹرسائیکلیں چوری شدہ، ٹیمپرڈ یا بینک سے لی گئی لیکن رجسٹر نہ کروائی گئی پائی گئی ہیں۔ پولیس نے بتایا کہ جن افراد کی بائیکس بند ہیں وہ اپنا شناختی کارڈ اور رجسٹریشن پیپرز کے ساتھ متعلقہ تھانے یا ٹریفک پولیس آفس سے رجوع کریں تاکہ ان کی موٹرسائیکلیں ریلیز کی جا سکیں۔
ایس ایس پی کے مطابق تمام بائیکس محفوظ حالت میں موجود ہیں، کوئی پرزہ غائب نہیں کیا گیا، اور پوری کارروائی الیکٹرانک سسٹم کے ذریعے ریکارڈ کی گئی ہے۔ شہریوں سے اپیل کی گئی ہے کہ وہ اپنی بائیکس کے کاغذات مکمل رکھیں تاکہ مستقبل میں کسی دشواری سے بچ سکیں۔
